Denton ATPE Meeting


The Denton Chapter of ATPE met on January 8, 2008 at 5:00. Officers and members present were Vicki Storrie, Darla Purcell, Lesle Lehman, Nancy Gaillard, Robyn Mullendore, Malicia Curran, Joan Slavens and Tamara KIir.

Lesle reported that Denton ATPE now has over 900 members!

Robyn announced that the State ATPE Convention will be held in Austin March 27-29th. The following Denton ATPE members attending the convention are Vicki Storrie, Darla Purcell, Lesle Lehman, Nancy Gaillard, Robyn Mullendore, Malicia Curran and Joan Slavens.

Lesle announced that all the the 2007 Denton ATPE scholarships have been paid out except for two.

2008 scholarship information will be sent to members February 27, 2008 and are due April 7, 2008 to Lesle Lehman at Ann Windle by April 7, 2008. Approximately $4,250 will be available for members' scholarships!

Robyn announced that Leadership U will be held in Austin July 11and 12, 2008 .

Doorprizes were won by Robyn, Vicki and Tamara.

Meeting adjorned at 6:00.
